Mark 15:21-39 The One Who Stands in Our Place

This Good Friday, we read and reflect on the substitutionary sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Looking at Barrabas, we find ourselves also guilty, and deserving of punishment. But Jesus, the innocent One, steps into our place, and makes atonement for our sin and guilt, and makes us both free and reconciled to our Creator. Hallelujah! What a Saviour!
